Deal or Keep Climbing Borgata Challenge
Deal or No Deal? If you’re a fan of the popular TV show, you know that deciding when to keep gambling when to quit and take the deal isn’t easy. On the one hand, the whole point of the game is to try to win as much as possible. On the other hand, if you keep pressing your luck, the chances are at some point it will backfire and you’ll regret not taking what in retrospect seems like a good deal, while you still had a chance.
Today, Saturday, March 30 only, Borgata Online Casino is offering a promotion called Deal or Keep Climbing. The object is to earn as many iRPs as possible playing your favorite games. But don’t worry because, unlike in Deal or No Deal, continuing to play and winding up with a prize of lesser value than what you were offered earlier is impossible.
At each threshold along the way, if you choose not to stop and take the deal, but continue playing to try to reach a higher threshold, you still get a secondary prize for the threshold you did reach. And this prize is yours to keep. Even if you come up short attempting to get to the next threshold, no one will take your previously earned reward away from you or replace it with a lesser reward.
How to participate in the Borgata Online Casino Deal or Keep Climbing promotion
This promotion is open to all registered BorgataCasino.com players. However, the deals are valid for today only, so only participate if you have time to play today. You have all day up until 11:59 p.m. for your play to count, but after that, you’ll be too late.
Here’s what you need to do to get started:
- Log into your BorgataCasino.com account on Saturday, March 30.
- Go to My Promotions and opt into the Deal or Keep Climbing.promotion.
- Start playing!
No deposit is required at the time you opt in, although you might need to make one later as a condition for receiving a particular bonus. However, even before then, if your account balance is running low, you should consider making a deposit to ensure that you have enough funds available for your intended level of play.
Five levels of bonuses
There are five sequential levels of bonuses you can earn, depending on how many iRPs you earn today. Upon reaching any given iRP level, you will have an important choice to make.
- Take the deal the casino is offering you.
- Or take the secondary prize and continue playing.
Total No. of iRPs Needed to Qualify for Each Level
- 20 iRPs: Option to take Deal 1
- 50 iRPs: Option to take Deal 2
- 100 iRPs: Option to take Deal 3
- 250 iRPs: Option to take Deal 4
- 600 iRPs: Option to take Deal 5
If you take the deal-–
If at any point in your play you decide to take the deal, you will receive your bonus offer immediately. However, your participation in the promotion will end and you won’t be eligible for additional bonuses.
If the bonus is in the form of a deposit match, you will need to make a deposit of at least $20 in order to receive the bonus.
All prizes are a mystery
Until you actually play enough to reach a designated iRP level, your only clue about any of the upcoming prizes is that all of them are in the form of bonus dollars. The casino’s website provides no advance information at all about either the specific deal being offered at each iRP level or, alternatively, what your reward will be if you don’t take the deal. However, it appears that the maximum amount for any individual bonus is $100.
Additional wagering requirements for the bonuses
All bonuses are subject to a wagering requirement of 15x the bonus. You may play any game you wish for this purpose, and it will count the full 100%. You will also earn additional iRPs on all of your wagers to clear the bonus.
However, like all other bonuses at this casino, you only have until 11:59 p.m. the following day to complete the wagering. If you play enough to earn multiple bonuses, claiming them all won’t be a problem. You can have multiple bonuses in your account simultaneously, all needing to be cleared. However, you can only clear one bonus at a time.
While the wagering to clear a given bonus is still in progress, you will be temporarily unable to withdraw the bonus, deposit, if any, tied to the bonus, and any bonus-related winnings. However, all of this money (or whatever is left of it) will become available as soon as the bonus is fully cleared, assuming you do so on time. Of course, opting out, prematurely attempting to withdraw unavailable funds, or letting the bonus expire before you complete the wagering will cause you to forfeit both the bonus and any resulting winnings.
Is the Deal or Keep Climbing promotion a good deal?
It would be nice if the casino was more forthcoming about the different step-wise prizes. Without this information, it is impossible to say whether the rewards are worth the time and monetary risk. If you’re a small player or on a tight budget, you need to be careful. Don’t let your desire for a bigger bonus tempt you to play over your head.
On the other hand, the fact that all of the prizes are a mystery, combined with the thrill of seeing how far up the iRP ladder you can climb, make Deal or Keep Climbing a very exciting proposition indeed.
Another great feature is that you can clear the bonus with any game you wish with no increase in wagering requirements. If you choose a game other than slots, even if the house edge is much lower, the same 15x bonus wagering requirement still applies. You also have the potential to rack up plenty of iRPs since all of your play–both cash and bonus money wagers–count.
The major drawback I see to this promotion is that most likely, in order to win any appreciable amount of money (outside of any winnings just from playing), you’ll have to do an inordinate amount of betting, all in a very short period of time. You have only one day (today) to earn your qualifying iRPs, then more play right on top of that to clear all of your bonuses by the 11:59 p.m. deadline tomorrow. Only you can decide if you’re up for the challenge.
