TropicanaCasino.com Bonus Coaster
CaesarsCasino.com is not the only NJ online casino offering multiple bonuses this weekend. Tropicana Online Casino has come up with its own trio of bonuses. It has a very clever name for them, too, Bonus Coaster.
But unlike Caesars, which is purposely keeping its players in suspense about the details of each day’s bonus until they log in that day and click on the bonus tab, the TropicanaCasino.com website describes each day’s bonus fully ahead of time. That gave me a chance to study all three and let you know here what I think.
After reading all the fine print, I wish I could say only great things about the Bonus Coaster ride, from start to finish. But in my opinion, the Saturday and Sunday bonuses are the only two that may be worth your time and only if you are a small player. I will get to those offers in a minute. But first, I will briefly mention what the first offer was.
Bonus Coaster Offer No. 1: Playback Bonus
Day 1 on the Bonus Coaster was Friday, June 9. So that day’s special offer has now expired. But don’t feel bad if you missed it because it wasn’t anything to write home about (or rave about to your friends).
A 10% playback up to $25 if you wagered $50 or more and had a net loss.
This is the type of bonus offer you should opt in to only if you are going to be playing on the site anyway. It is not one you should go out of your way to get.
Even the maximum bonus of $25 is smallish, and that amount is contingent on first losing $250 or more. If you were to only lose $50, the bonus drops to $5.
Furthermore, this is a playback bonus, not a cashback bonus, meaning that you have to wager it. The wagering requirements are extremely reasonable, just 1x the bonus on any game, but here’s the catch. You can only keep the winnings, not the bonus itself. On the other hand, if you win initially, you don’t receive any bonus for your play at all.
Bonus Coaster Offer No. 2: 10% Deposit Match Bonus
Day 2 on the Bonus Coaster is today, Saturday, June 10. This time the offer is a deposit match bonus.
Make a net deposit of $50 anytime today, June 10, and wager it 1x on any game.
Then, on Monday, June 12, you will receive a match bonus amounting to 10% of your deposit, up to $25. Upon receiving your bonus, you will then have up to 30 days to wager the bonus (just like your deposit) 1x on any game. As soon as this wagering is completed, you are free to withdraw any resulting winnings, but not the bonus itself. The casino takes the bonus back.
Is This Bonus Offer Worthwhile?
While the minuscule wagering requirements are great, this offer would be a lot better if the same could not be said about the size and percentage of the bonus. If you do the math, you will see that in order to receive the maximum bonus of $25, you will have to first deposit and wager $250. On the other hand, if you only deposit and wager the $50 minimum, your bonus goes all the way down to $5.
In either case, the wagering requirement of only 1x the bonus should not break the bank even for the smallest players. But the flip side is that any bonus related winnings will probably also be negligible, especially since you can’t keep the bonus and replay it.
This bonus offer is strictly for small players who would be content with a $5 to $25 nonredeemable bonus. I can’t imagine any high rollers opting in to this offer.
Bonus Coaster Offer No. 3: $3,000 Prize Draw
Here is your third offer of the weekend. It is for Sunday, June 11. Unlike the deposit match bonus offer just described, this time the casino is holding a drawing to determine who wins. No deposit is necessary, but you do have to play, and there is no guarantee that you will be rewarded with a bonus.
Each time you wager $50 on Sunday, June 11, you will earn an entry into the casino’s prize drawing, up to a maximum of five entries per player.
On Monday, June 12, 300 winners will be randomly selected to receive $10 bonus money. This bonus, like virtually all Tropicana Online Casino bonuses, is subject to a 1x wagering requirement on any game within 30 days. Once this tiny wagering requirement is met, any resulting winnings are yours to keep. However, the bonus itself is not withdrawable.
Is Participating in This Drawing Worthwhile?
Once again, the small size of the bonus should deter most high rollers, who would undoubtedly consider a $10 nonredeemable bonus a waste of time. Actually, this should work in your favor if you are a small player. The narrowing down of the field to non-high rollers, combined with the cap of five entries per player (even if you wager more than $250), should significantly limit the number of entries and give you an excellent chance to be one of the 300 winners.
Neither the Sunday offer nor the Saturday deposit match bonus is great on its own. However, combined, you can potentially pick up $35 in temporary bonus money. Therefore, if you are a casual TropicanaCasino.com player and have the time and desire to do a little playing this weekend, you should take advantage of the opportunity.
