Caesars Online Casino 50% Deposit Match

Here’s another 50% deposit match bonus you can get your greedy hands on this weekend. This offer is from High rollers will probably scoff at the small amount–only $25. However, whatever your level of play, it’s $25 more in your online account than before and easy enough to get. So my advice to all Caesars players is to accept this Deposit $50, Get $50 bonus for what it is and be glad the casino is offering it.

When the Caesars Online Casino 50% Deposit Match is Available

This promotion started Friday, August 4 and continues through Monday, August 7.  However, you can only claim this offer once. So pick the day that’s most convenient and make a $50 deposit. The bonus will be in your account ready to wager right away.

How to Access the Caesars Online 50% Deposit Match

This promotion is open to all account holders. Here is what you need to do to receive your bonus.

  • Log into your account anytime during the August 4-7 promotional period.
  • Click on “My Account” and then on “My Bonuses.”
  • Enter the code AUG25 and click on “Get Details.”
  • Look for the words “Deposit $50, Get $25,” under “Available Bonuses.” Click on “Deposit” next to the bonus.
  • Make a $50 deposit and claim your bonus.

Note that, unlike many other NJ online casino bonuses, the amount of this bonus is fixed. In order to get the $25 bonus, you must make a single deposit of $50. There is no point in depositing less than $50 because then you won’t get a bonus. On the other hand, if you deposit more than $50, other than having more money in your account to wager with if you think you need it, there is no advantage. You will not receive a bigger bonus.

As with other bonuses offered by this casino, deposits made at the Caesars Atlantic City casino cashier’s cage or via PayNearMe don’t count.

Wagering Requirements

Like all deposit match bonuses, this Deposit $50, Get a $50 Bonus deal from comes with specific wagering requirements. Players must complete this wagering, within the specified time frame, in order not to forfeit the bonus. Until then, not only the bonus itself, but also the deposit tied to the bonus, plus any associated winnings, are unavailable for withdrawal.

However, where this bonus differs from most other deposit match bonuses–at least those offered by NJ online casinos–is in the formula used to determine the wagering requirements. With most bonuses, the required wagers to clear the bonus are a multiple of the bonus only. But in this instance, the wagering requirement is based on the bonus and deposit combined.

The wagering requirements for this bonus are as follows:

            Slots: 5x bonus + deposit

Video Poker: 10x bonus + deposit

All Other Games: 25x bonus + deposit

In other words, since this is a $25 bonus, the total amount you would need to wager to clear it is $375 for slots, $750 for video poker, or a whopping $1,875 for table games. Fortunately, the bonus is small because otherwise, you could be facing some very hefty wagering requirements indeed.

Is the Caesars Online Casino 50% Deposit Match Offer a Good One?

This offer is identical to the promotion described in my post of July 22: “Deposit $50, Get $25 at” In my opinion, it is an okay enough offer for me to recommend accepting again though not a great offer.

A 50% Deposit Match on a Small Deposit is Excellent

The best feature of this Caesars Online Casino promotion is that it is a 50% deposit match bonus that does not require a large deposit,. Therefore, even small players can take advantage of it. Granted, compared to the exceptionally good 100% deposit match currently being offered at sister casino HarrahsCasino.comand by the way, today is the last day for the Harrah’s offer–a 50% bonus offer pales. However, the deposit match percentage for most NJ online casino bonuses not requiring a minimum deposit of more than $50 is way less than 50%. When compared to a 10%, 15% or 25% deposit match, for example, a 50% offer is actually quite generous.

Wagering Requirements Based on Both the Bonus and Deposit

On the other hand, what I don’t like about this bonus is that the wagering requirements are a multiple of both the bonus and deposit combined. Including the deposit in the calculation is a sneaky move on the casino’s part to increase the amount you need to wager as as condition for clearing the bonus.

Furthermore, because this is a 50% deposit match bonus, rather than a 100% deposit match bonus, including the deposit at part of the multiplier doesn’t just double the wagering requirement over what it would be based on the bonus alone. It triples it! Instead of the bonus and deposit contributing 50-50 to the amount you need to a wager, a disproportionate amount is coming from the player’s deposit.

Small  Players Need to be Careful

For this reason, small players need to be especially careful. I suggest clearing the bonus with slots or video poker and even then taking advantage of the full 7 day wagering period the casino is allowing.

The 25x bonus + deposit combined wagering requirement for table games is in reality 75x the bonus. This is excessive for any bonus, but bordering on ridiculous for one as modest as $25. But fortunately, the wagering requirements for slots and video poker, amounting to 15x the bonus or 30x the bonus, respectively, are much more reasonable. As a result, not only moderate to high stakes players, but small players on limited budgets, for whom this bonus is best suited, can take advantage of the opportunity.
