Monster Million Sharepot at Tropicana Casino

If you play on frequently, you are probably already familiar with their Sharepot promotions and how they work. If not, you are about to find out. Everyone who logs into their account and wagers at least $50 on a single day between Monday and Thursday this week is guaranteed a piece of the steadily growing Monster Million Sharepot.

The casino is calling this promotion Monster Million because potentially up to a million Trop Points are up for grabs. That translates into $10,000 Bonus Money!

How to Earn Tickets for the Monster Million Sharepot

The Monster Million Sharepot promotion starts today, Monday, November 27, and continues through Thursday, November 30. Each day during the promotion you’re given a new opportunity to earn tickets entitling you to a share of the Sharepot. For every $50 wagered per day on any game, you earn one ticket, up to a maximum of five tickets per day (if you wager $250 or more).

So if you play all four days of the promotion and wager $250 each day, you will earn 20 tickets, which is the maximum possible.

Meanwhile, for every $10 wagered during the promotion, will add 1 Trop Point to the Sharepot, up to a maximum of 1 million Trop Points!

Determining Each Player’s Share

On Friday, December 1, the casino will determine each player’s share of the Sharepot. The calculation will be done in the following manner:

  • First, the total number of Sharepot tickets a player has earned is divided by the total number of Sharepot tickets earned by all players combined.
  • This is the percentage of the Sharepot to which the player is entitled. This percentage is then multiplied by the total number of Trop Points in the Sharepot. The result will be the number of Trop Points going to the player.

For example, suppose you earn 20 Sharepot tickets during the promotion and the total number of Sharepot tickets earned by all players combined is 10,000. Your share would be 2% of the Sharepot. If all together, there are 100,000 Trop Points in the Sharepot, you would get 2% of that total or 2,000 Trop Points.

On Friday, December 1`, all qualifying players will be notified how many Trop Points they will receive. The points will be credited to their account within three business days.

Converting Trop Points to Bonus Money

Once you receive your Trop Points, you will need to convert them to Bonus Money. See the website for rules and instructions or contact Customer Support if you need further assistance.

Remember, any Bonus Money won in this promotion is subject to the same rules as other Bonus Money awarded on either or sister casino The bonus must be wagered 1x on any game within 30 days. As soon as this minimal wagering is completed, you will be able to withdraw any resulting winnings, but not the bonus itself.

Is the Monster Million Sharepot Promotion Worth Your Time?

The name of this promotion is somewhat of a misnomer. In all probability, the size of the Sharepot will not even come close to a million Trop Points.  In addition, a lot of people will be participating, so don’t expect your own individual share to be much. Obviously, you should not wager more than you can afford just to earn more Sharepot tickets. On the other hand, those who wager $250 per day all four days will get the biggest share of the Sharepot.

Limiting the number of tickets to five per day that any one player can earn gives other players besides high rollers a chance to share in the Sharepot. However, the promotion would be better if after converting your Trop Points to Bonus Money, you could keep that money after you wager it.

The good news is that you only need to wager the Bonus Money once, so you are not risking any additional money of your own. Ideally, you will win both in your play this week to qualify for a piece of the Sharepot and again when you bet the Bonus Money. Even then, a monster win is highly unlikely. However, this promotion is still worth a shot as a fun way to try to win something, even if it’s only a few dollars.
